Conscious Evolution, Plant Teachers, TOOL, Practice

TOOL is such a prominent aspect of spirituality for me, an integral TOOL in my practice. I have to express this gratitude I have because I truly would not have made it to this point without all the lessons that I've acquired through using TOOL in spiritual practice. Any album, each always have something new to teach me, any time, year after year.
One side of my journeys with TOOL stand me in front of perfect mirrors of myself, showing me myself from all those shadowy angles that tend to go unnoticed or hidden away; all the filthy, ugly, wretched parts of me I never wanted to see. TOOL has played such a significant role in inspiring the majority of change I have consciously undertaken. I despise myself when I see those angles, I couldn't live with myself from then on, so I had to change. I've had my ass handed to me countless times while sitting with TOOL, 'humbled again,' and again... Like any teacher, they've worked their way into my consciousness, always stepping in to school me, they have an answer for everything! It gets pretty ridiculous sometimes. Just like my yoga teacher: it's been four years since I've taken his class, but every time I do yoga, his voice is with me, saying exactly what he would be saying in class. I would be nothing near who I am today without using TOOL as/with spiritual practice/psychotherapy/a guide for metaprogramming, exposing the negative imprints that keep us caged inside of ourselves and sparking the awareness and motivation to recondition habitual patterns of behavior that are keeping me from being Who I Truly Want to Be. I've always known when I need to let go, or be patient, but I never knew how to. TOOL is the only teacher that's ever shown me how to let go, to be patient (well, trees are probably the best teachers of patience alive);  they introduced me to my intuition and clairaudience/clairvoyance, and along with Billy Corgan, taught me how to dance. I never danced on my feet until I was 24 and since then it has evolved so much and become another major aspect of practice for me. The vision I had that sparked the beginning of my life as a spiritual Being with Intent, a path and a purpose, came while dancing to TOOL; at the end of a song I stop and put my hands together to namaste (thank) and suddenly this eye is right there in the ether just above me looking right into me and it told me, "find your fire." Best advice ever.
And this is only one of many different ways I use this TOOL. So progressive and versatile. Sit with a partner to TOOL, look into each other's eyes, the way you have to work your eyes through those lenses to see the pics in 3D on 10,000 Days... you'll see, I can't really put words to what all has come out of that, you just gotta do it.
Now that I've gone  and kissed my lipstick off all over TOOL's ass.......
"Tool is exactly what it sounds like: It's a big dick. It's a wrench.... we are... your tool; use us as a catalyst in your process of finding out whatever it is you need to find out, or whatever it is you're trying to achieve."   -Maynard Keenan

Eat with Heart

A friendly reminder to encourage us to always eat with our hands: All food is finger food! Humans just decided it's not ok to make physical contact with the very stuff that makes us alive. Hands are extensions of our Heart, touching our food connects us to the singularity in all things and reminds us that all is One. Without making that connection/acknowledgment we don't receive the life force energy from food, & we certainly don't deserve it without a 'thank you!', we just get full, & still feel empty, so we eat more, or less, or swallow exuberant doses of vitamins, drugs, TV,  and whatnot. The body isn't the only part that needs nourishment. 'The kingdom of Heaven is within you, and within everything.' Let's all adopt the Intent to help each other remember everything we've forgotten that we know; Hint: it's in our Hearts, not heads...
